The project grew out of a desire to explore to what extent urban residents can produce their own food. This resulted in “Att ha vaktel”, a 24-page booklet that combines illustrations and accessible text to explain the basics of quail keeping.

For me, it is essential that we do proper research before bringing an animal into our lives, that we understand the responsibility it entails, and that we reflect on where our food actually comes from.
